The Leading CED Coating Plant Manufacturer in Maharashtra
We are a Manufacturer, Supplier, and Exporter of CED Coating Plant Manufacturer in Maharashtra and our setup is situated in Maharashtra, India. Cathodic Electro-deposition ( CED ) is a based primer coating & mostly used in automotive paint shops. In this process, charged particles from the paint emulsion move to the Cathode under electrical forces.
The direct current established through the bath makes the pigment and resin base of the paint attract towards the component surfaces.

CED is the most advanced and environment-friendly water-based coating to be done on metal components. A combination of dip and spray ensures the reach of paint at every corner of a component having an intrinsic shape as well. CED is chemically resistant, mechanically durable, and pleasant in appearance having a very good salt spray life, and is sought for by all automobile users.
ED Coating is the first coating layer which gives the corrosion resistance and good adhesion properties for the next coating layer.
Objectives
The cost reduction objectives include:
- Energy conservation in the ED process
- Raw material consumption reduction
It is almost impossible to paint many sections of a vehicle’s metal frame with a conventional spray-applied paint finish due to its incredibly intricate design. To achieve the highest level of corrosion resistance, the first coating layer is electrodeposited during the vehicle-making process. Using this procedure is the most automatic, controllable, and efficient way to apply a corrosion-inhibiting primer to a metallic workpiece.

To create a tough layer, the electrically charged metal body is submerged in a paint solution containing paint particles that are attracted to the metal surface due to their opposing charges, and then baked. Current practice encourages using the vehicle body as the cathode in this process to prevent steel corrosion. In this method, coatings called cathodic electrocoats are used.
The entire hangar assembly is connected due to the cathode connection. The entire hangar is electrified, and CED is implemented throughout, which causes excessive paint deposition on the surface and on people’s seating arrangements.
