CED Coating Plant Manufacturers in Maharashtra
We are Manufacturer, Supplier and Exporter of CED Coating Plant Manufacturers in Maharashtra and our setup is situated in Maharashtra, India. Cathodic Electro-deposition ( CED ) is Water Based primer coating & mostly used in automotive paint shop. In this process, charged particles from the paint emulsion move to Cathode under electrical forces.
The direct current established through the `bath makes the pigment and resin base of the paint attract towards the component surfaces.

CED is most advanced and environment friendly water based coating to be done on metal components. A combination of dip and spray ensures reach of paint at every corner of component having intrinsic shape as well. CED is chemically resistant, mechanically durable, and pleasant in appearance having very good salt spray life and is sought for by all automobile users.
ED Coating is the first coating layer which gives the corrosion resistant and good adhesion property for the next coating layer.
Objectives
The cost reduction objectives includes:
- Energy conservation in ED process
- Raw material consumption reduction
The extraordinarily complex design of a vehicle’s metal frame makes it nearly hard to paint many sections with a traditional spray-applied paint finish. In the process of making a vehicle, the first coating layer is electro-deposited to produce the highest level of corrosion resistance. The most automatic, manageable, and effective way to apply a corrosion-inhibiting primer to a metallic work piece is using this procedure.

The metal body is electrically charged, placed in a solution with paint particles that have opposing charges, which are drawn to the metal surface, and baked to form a durable layer. In order to avoid steel corrosion, current practise supports using the vehicle body as the cathode in this process. Cathodic electro coats are the coatings utilised in this technique.
Because of the cathode connection is connected to the full hangar assembly. The electrification passes to the whole hangar and CED takes place in all over the hangar results in excess paint deposition in hangar surface and body seating arrangements.
